Exciting “HUTECH Soccerbot 2015”.

Morning 16^th October 2015, “HUTECH Soccerbot 2015” competition (soccer game played by robot) was successfully held by HUTECH Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Falcuty at Hall B 475A Dien Bien Phu. The competion drew great attention and excitement not only students of other faculties but also students of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Falcuty.

“HUTECH Soccerbot 2015” was held successfully

Dr. Nguyen Hung,– Vice Dean of HUTECH Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Falcuty said “ The purpose of organizing HUTECH Soccerbot 2015 is to help students apply theory to practice, develop teamwork skills, skills of creative thinking and enhance the spirit of scientific learning and researching in student community not only at HUTECH but also other universities.

There were four teams at the competition, including: HUTECH DDC and Autocontrol (HUTECH), BKIT (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology) and TEC (Ton Duc Thang University). The rival teams at the competition must have basic knowledge of embedded programming techniques, computing communication and electronic techniques. All competed robots were particularly the official model of robots programing competition for playing soccer “SoccerBot 2015” supplied by Saigon Hi-tech Park Incubation Center.

The rival teams competed against in turn. After 6 dramatic and suspense matches, all competitors have proved their keen intelligence, their impressive strategies in each goal. The result of each match was indicated as the following: HUTECH DDC – TEC (2-0), BKIT – Autocontrol (0-3), Autocontrol – TEC (1-0), BKIT – TEC (1-0), HUTECH DDC – Autocontrol (2-1). As the result, HUTECH DDC won the first prize, Autocontrol – the second prize, BKIT – the third prize and TEC – the consolation prize.

“HUTECH Soccerbot 2015” is not only the playing ground for academic exchanging between universities but also the preparation step for HUTECH Soccerbot teams has a chance to experience the atmosphere of real competition to master their skills and their technology to be ready for the battles at Soccerbot Programing Contest “Soccerbot 2015” held by Saigon Hi-tech Park Incubation Center at Saigon Hi-tech Park on 17^th October 2015.
