"Share a drop of blood – Give a spark of hope"

Reportedly, at the first blood donation day of the school year 2015-2016, the organization has received more than 2000 registration forms for blood donation from student under all Faculty, Institute and many other departments throughout schools including Staff – faculties- lecturers and received more than 1,000 units of blood (each unit of blood ~ 250ml) which was promptly added to the blood bank at hospitals in the district.
Registering for the event, HUTECH students will be given free health checkup, free health consult, tested, receive the results of blood tests and gifts from organizers. At the same time, the students are also awarded with the voluntary blood donation certificate - a "plus" for volunteers to reach the title "Student 5 goods" and contribute to improving positive lifestyle as well as morality while under the school roof.
With the connotation of giving each unit of blood is like giving needing patients a spark of hope, in addition to spreading the spirit of “Give blood-save lives”, the school encourages all HUTECH individuals to continue to actively participate in this year blood donation event.

Registration period: from now until 17h00 on March 24, 2016.

BLOOD DONATION GUIDE
Step 1: The blood donators queue up at 2nd floor hall to receive health information-registration forms after that complete the form as instructed
Step 2: After completing the health information registration form, participants bring the forms to weigh-height measure area (1st floor hall) for vitality check-up
Step 3: If the participant is eligible to donate blood (having the appropriate weight, height), participants bring forms to the preliminary health inspection area for: blood pressure, heart rate checkup. In this area, the doctor would advise to understand the medical history related to the health of blood donors, answer the concerns, worries about donating blood.
Step 4: After completing the health checkup, the participants move to the rest areas to have sweetened tea, rest and prepare to donate blood.
Step 5: Participants embark on vehicles arranged by the organizing committee for voluntary blood donation. Each person will spend an average of 5 minutes to donate blood with every blood donation is 250, 350 or 450ml.
Step 6: After donating blood, blood donors will rest for at least 10 minutes in the chair position prepared by the organizers.
Step 7: Receive gifts from the organizer for donating blood.
