English Speaking Contest 2016.

HUTECH students as Winner of “English Speaking Contest VIII”, 2016
Round 1 was a “play-off” with 10 teams in 5 matches. More specifically, they had to fight one another for their own opinions on theme “Social network”. We got the 5 matches: IE1 vs. 14DTN02, 15DTA10 vs. BAWEIU, 14DTA05 vs.15DTA08, 14DTA13 vs.14DTA12, DRAGONFLY vs.15DTA10.
Exciting play-offs and eloquence fights at the Contest
In the Eloquence, the 6 teams had their precious 5 minutes each to present their registered topic related to the theme “Share-care & Responsibility”. A clip had to be embedded with their speech. As regulated, 3 members of each team showed off what they got to convey and voice out their thoughts with the clip. Unlike the previous version of the Contest, this year introduced a whole new session- “Talents”. The main goal was to help contestants to speak their English fluently.

The 8th “English Speaking Contest” was ended with the satisfaction of lecturers and contestant teams. Hopefully, after this contest, our HUTECH students in particular, and students of other universities in general would find themselves reasonable goal to apply their English skills into reality.
