Business Semester at White Palace and Gem Center for HUTECH students

In the evening of July 15, 2016, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH), Heads of the Tourism Management & Hospitality Faculty and PQC Convention Corp. co. had a signing ceremony to organize the business semester for students.
Accordingly, students of Tourism Management & Hospitality Faculty will participate in the training, internship and experience at F & B Department at White Palace and the GEM Center or other affiliates under PQC. This is the ideal opportunity for HUTECH students to approach the 5 stars grade professional services management systems when studying at HUTECH.
Throughout the internship, students will receive many preferential benefits right at their training units such as being able to train with regular staff, being certified to have attended the semester at the unit etc. More specially, HUTECH students will be receiving salary as per agreed upon and at the end of the semester, the students who showed capabilities, demonstrated good ability will be awarded with scholarships or retained to work at their training units, depending on the policy of PQC.
Reportedly, this program is conducted annually to give students the opportunities to be involved early in the actual working environment, reinforce academic knowledge, practice specialist skills and improve soft skills etc. Moreover, when students participating in the business semester, they will be exempted some substitute subjects in their training course. HUTECH hopes with being able to practice, study at prestigious business units, students will be able to gather many specialist knowledge, practical experience in a professional working environment. In addition, if the students know how to utilize, they will also have the chance to improve their foreign language skills by being in regular contact with many foreigners; acquire transactional skills as well as capture customers’ psychology.
