HUTECH Institute of International Education awards honored students and launches Scientific research
On April 26th,2017 HUTECH Institute of International Education organized the “Ceremony of Honored students Award and Scientific research Kick-off Meeting”, in order to encourage and motivate students of the Intstitute of International Education who have achieved excellent performance in their study as well as extra-curricular activities.
The ceremony had the presence of HUTECH Heads of Departments and Program Directors together with 120 honored students with excellent results in studying as well as extra-curricular activities.

Making a speech at the ceremony, MSc. Nguyen Lan Huong, Vice Director of HUTECH Institute of International Education, extended her congratulations toward the Institute’s srudents for their proud achievements during the last semester, while also encouraging them to keep up the excellent performance in their studies, scientific research and extra-curricular activities in the future.

The ceremony also included an exchange session featuring 2 honor students: Ms. Do Cong Dung - Class 14DQTQA1 - International Standard Program who achieved “Students of 5 merits” - City- level and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Trinh - 14DQTQA3 - International Standard Program – Outstanding Student with GPA of 4.0.

In the exchange session, Ms. Thu Trinh shared her opinion that extra-curricular activities and part-time jobs offer great opportunities for students to improve their time-management skills and soft skills which they will need after graduation; and understanding the lessons right in the class using mindmaps can also helps saving time and effort, while giving greater efficiency in studying. Meanwhile, Ms. Do Cong Dung thinks that achieving the “Students of 5 Merits” is not as hard as students may think, and if the students face any difficulties, their lecturers are always there to provide support.
Participating the ceremony, Dr. Pham Thi Hai Quynh - Vice Director of the Institute of International Education, also encourage the students that it is not hard at all to do a sientific research topic; and during the course of a research, students can learn and improve various skills such as report writing and reading skills, presentation skills. Those are the neccessary skills which will “beautify” their CVs and give them advantages in applying for jobs after graduation.

Also during the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Gia Huy - Vice Secretary of HUTECH Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, has announced and launched the Scientific Research and “Students of 5 Merits” movements for the Institute of International Education’s students for this semester.

The ceremony closed in a pleasant atmosphere with the award session for students with excellent results in their studies and extra-curricular activities with the Institute’s Youth Union and Student Association. This is definitely a great encouragement for the students to continue performing their best in the following semester.
