With good communication skills in Japanese, the Cultural Exchange was really interesting and friendly, it afforded students the opportunity to gain more knowledge about the culture of the two countries. It didn't take long for good rapport to be built between the students. WASEDA Students shared many images of Japan and WASEDA University by giving a video presentation. HUTECH Students not only showed video presentations but also gave a very special performance titled “Múa Sen” to give a friendly image of Vietnam. The students divided into 2 groups, mixing both Universities to discuss 2 topics “Culture and Cuisine” and “Beauty and Health”. All of them enjoyed the atmosphere, 100% Japanese was spoken. Using the same language meant a sense of empathy was achieved, same emotions shared and people talking together became closer. Cultural Exchange schemes like this, bring opportunities to enhance communication, improve speaking skills, team work skills and also create a strong tie for students from both sides. The occasion also forged a better relationship between HUTECH University and WASEDA University (Japan) and consolidated the co-operation of the two universities.
