6 Universities’ participate in the semi-final of “STREET FOOD” English Eloquence Contest held by HUT

In the afternoon of April 28th, the semi-final of the 9th academic “English Eloquence” Contest 2017 with the theme of “STREET FOOD” was held by the Faculty of Foreign Languages, HUTECH University of Technology.
Cheered on by over 400 supporters, the semi-final was the competition arena for 27 competition teams selected from more than 100 teams from Saigon University (SGU), Nong Lam University (NLU), Van Hien University (VHU), HOCHIMINH City University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT), University of Finance and Marketing (UFM) and the host team of HUTECH.
Under the Contest rules, only 12 teams with highest marks shall be advanced to the Contest Final to be held on the oncoming May 12th 2017. In the semi-final, each of the 27 teams underwent 2 interesting contests: Public Presentation and Query Challenge. After a fierce competitive battle, the Board of Examiners announced the marks acquired by each team (file enclosed) and determined 12 teams for the oncoming
grand final. Specifically: Congratulations to the successful teams! Hopefully, they will keep up their efforts and creativeness to acquire impressive marks and attractive awards in the uncoming final. No doubt, they will be in need of wholehearted support from all HUTECH students and students of Faculty of Foreign Languages in particular.
