Workshop on learning and teaching methods from The Faculty of Foreign Languages

Onthe morning of January 9th 2017, a workshop entitled “Research on Learning and Teaching Activities in Classes” was held by the HUTECH’s Faculty of Foreign Languages at Meeting Hall B02.09. This workshop was especially associated with skills for teaching method improvement to help knowledge transference to FFL’s students become more easily and efficiently delivered.
This useful activity attracted leader and lecturer participation, they came from the FFL’s English and Japanese Language centers, to learn about the updated teaching and learning methods as well as new teaching research methodology. The discussion of topic entitled “The necessity to take small-scale researches on teaching and learning methods in English classes” – “Action Research”. It was hotly debated, giving rise to interesting opinions relating to methods of research performance, associated with teaching speciality and real world experiences in the classroom. Thanks to the practical discussion contents, the actual workshop was profound with the interesting analysis and assessment and research. In the ufuture, the Faculty of Foreign Languages’ teaching and learning activities could be supplemented with essential skills, and subsequently contribute to the improvement of research and training quality.
