The quality assessment of three training programs, including Mechanical Engineering, Economic Law, and Management of Tourism & Travel Services, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) officially concluded on October 6 after five consecutive days of objective, serious, and thorough working sessions.

Participating in the closing ceremony of the official quality assessment conducted by the Center for Accreditation of Education - Vinh University (VU-CEA) with the participation of members in the role of assessors and supervisors from the Department of Administration - Services - Education Accreditation Center - Vinh University.
External assessment team, leaders of HUTECH, and departments, faculties attending the closing session
On behalf of HUTECH, there was the presence of several members of the University’s Board of Presidents, and leaders of relevant faculties and departments, as well as personnel in charge of quality assurance and program accreditation at the university.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duy Cam reports the preliminary findings of criteria 9, 10 & 11. He also summarizes the overall results of the official assessment survey at HUTECH
The evaluation team in turn reported preliminary findings based on eleven quality assessment criteria at the training program level according to the Circular issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. With each criterion, experts pointed out the existing strengths of HUTECH in general and each major in particular while also providing recommendations for improvement that would align with the institution’s mission and educational philosophy.

Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc said, “HUTECH is a young university, so each recommendation of the assessment team is a valuable lesson for the university to use as a basis for quality improvement towards meeting the needs of learners and contributing to the socio-economic development process.”
In his closing remarks, the President also recognized the collective efforts of the faculties and supporting staff contributing toward the development and upholding the academic excellence and training quality. The positive results from the official quality assessment at the training program level conducted by VU-CEA are important testaments to the achievements of HUTECH.

Dr. Tran Dinh Quang congratulated HUTECH on completing the quality accreditation of three additional training programs. On behalf of the team of assessors, Dr. Quang said, “HUTECH has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and thoroughness in the implementation of its quality assurance activities. It proves that HUTECH is responsible for the quality of its education, thereby creating a favorable foundation to maximize its autonomy in the innovation trends of higher education.”
Three additional training programs at HUTECH have completed quality accreditation
Before the end of the closing session, representatives HUTECH and the assessment team also signed the official survey minutes closing the five consecutive days of professional, serious, and thorough working sessions. Completing the quality accreditation has brought new development potential for these three training programs in particular (i.e., Mechanical Engineering, Economic Law, Tourism & Travel Service Management) and HUTECH in general.
