HUTECH Faculty of Pharmacy students visited Phytopharma JSC

On July 17th, the Faculty of Pharmacy - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a field trip to National Phytopharma JSC (Phytopharma), allowing prospective pharmacists to observe the practical working environment.
The field trip allowed HUTECH’s future pharmacists to observe the practical working environment
Accompanying the students on this trip were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Phung Nguyen - Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pharmacist Nguyen Linh Viet - Chairman of the Faculty’s Board of Corporate Relations, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Dao - Assistant to the Director of the Center for Corporate Relations. Representative of Phytopharma was Mr. Mario P. Capistrano JR - General Director.

Students studied multiple types of machinery, research equipment, and operating procedures of each specific process at Phytopharma.

Furthermore, the students are consulted by experts on the trends and work experience of a pharmacist career; thereby, gaining an understanding of the industry, and preparing them well for future orientation.
The trip helps students understand more about the industry, helping to orient their careers in the future
The field trip is an opportunity for students to prepare themselves, and an opportunity to shorten the distance between HUTECH and the businesses. Optimistically, the Phytopharma Company field trip would help the Faculty of Pharmacy students have the motivation to pursue their careers.
