[Video] HUTECH’s 2024 Green Summer volunteers participated in blood donation

On July 25th, more than 150 volunteers and other members of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) enthusiastically participated in voluntary blood donation in the HUTECH 2024 Green Summer Campaign sequence.

The program was organized by the Youth Union - Student Association in collaboration with the Humanitarian Blood Donation Center of Ho Chi Minh City and the Red Cross Society of Ward 25. Accordingly, the program has attracted more than 150 volunteers, along with other students, lecturers, and officers of HUTECH.

Accompanying the program were the Ho Chi Minh Blood Donation Center and the Red Cross Society of Ward 25

The program attracted a large number of HUTECH participants to donate blood

Volunteer Tran Le Duy Loc (Student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Animal Husbandry), who participated in the blood donation for the first time, expressed his thoughts: “I am very excited to participate in this activity. My family had relatives who received blood donations in time, thereby overcoming the danger. Since then, I have always wanted to donate blood with the hope that it will help the less fortunate. However, because of joining for the first time, I feel quite nervous. This is probably a memorable milestone that I will never forget in my journey as a HUTECH 2024 Green Summer volunteer. And I hope that this activity will be continued annually.”

Donating blood to save lives is a beautiful gesture showing the spirit of mutual affection of HUTECH students

After the program, the volunteers will continue to participate in the HUTECH 2024 Green Summer activities, expected to be completed by the end of July.
