Recently, the two start-up projects of HUTECH students have won the two highest prizes in the 2017 Global Youth Entrepreneurship Contest organized by Yeongju City and Dongyang University (Korea).
In the series of Ho Chi Minh City - Gyeongju World Culture Festival events, of Gyeongju city and Yeongju city (Gyeongsangnam North Korea), the Global Youth Entrepreneurship Ceremony 2017 is a good playground to encourage entrepreneurship and a bridge for exchanging between Vietnamese students and students of Dongyang University. This festival gathers nearly 20 ideas from Dongyang University, RMIT Vietnam University and HUTECH.

The HUTECH startup projects came from the HUTECH Institute of Technology, HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Information Technology. With 07 projects in many fields of science and technology such as production - trading of processed food, biological products, production support and health care applications ..., HUTECH students remarkably won the two highest awards. The first prize belongs to Huynh Vu Hoai Nhan and Nguyen Duc Toan (students of the Faculty of Information Technology) instructed by Assoc. Prof. Vo Dinh Bay and MSc. Duong Thanh Phet. The second prize belongs to the research project about 3D printing technology to assist people with disabilities and rehabilitation in orthopedic trauma of Nguyen Trung Tin, Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Nguyen Duc Chuyen, Le Nhat Son and Nguyen Ba Phi (HUTECH Institute of Technology), instructed by MSc. Pham Ba Khien.

Highly appreciated for its ability to grasp the global technology trend, the MicroPush Award-winning HUTECH Information Technology student program is the application that allows the use of robot fingers to remotely control machines through the electrical control unit and the wireless network. The idea is particularly effective when it is applied on an industrial scale, in machinery systems and production lines of factories or factories. In addition, comprehensive marketing strategies through the organization of workshops, website sales, direct contact with potential customers and some forms of advertising the group also impressed the juries.

Representatives of the two winning teams and their instructors will be granted two full scholarships to start their career in Korea in 10 days in early December. In addition, all projects winning in the 2017 Global Youth Entrepreneurship Ceremony will be displayed on Launching Consultancy Day (November 14 - November 16, 2004) in White Palace Convention Center (No. 194 Hoang Van Thu Street, Ward 9, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City).
