Lighting the passion of science in the Final of Scientific Research contest “Euréka”

The program attracted a large number of students
This is the 30 candidates selected in the final round of Euréka - XIX Award 2017 in the field of Biotechnology - Biomedical. The program received the participation of Dr. Luu Thanh Tam - Vice President of HUTECH; Mr. Doan Kim Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee, Director of the Center for Science and Technology Development of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

In the beginning of program, Prof. Dr. Luu Thanh Tam shared the benefits that scientific research brings to HUTECH students and Vietnamese students on the whole. Playgrounds such as the Euréka is a chance to cultivate a keen sense of academic creativity in the students' learning as well as to create opportunities for sharing knowledge and experience of students.
The school gave meaningful gifts to 30 typical students of scientific research
With experiences in successfully guiding many HUTECH students to achieve high prizes in scientific research in Biomedical Biology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam - Deputy Director of HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai - Lecturer of HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences - shared many useful skills and knowledge in scientific research which helped students understand the importance of this activity in their learning and career. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai are also the people who guided HUTECH students to successfully complete the research project in the final round of 19th Euréka prize in 2017.

In addition, two outstanding students of the Euréka Prize are Dinh Thanh Hieu, a HUTECH student and Nguyen Huu Hieu, a student at Hanoi University of Medicine. The students are on the process of implementing a research topic, lighting up more passion for scientific research for HUTECH students.

The exchange program has greatly provided the opportunity for HUTECH students to be able to answer questions related to the implementation of scientific research as well as added to themselves a lot of useful knowledge.
