Alumni of Fashion Design HUTECH won Runner Up Wings Up

Recently, two former students of Fashion Design HCMC University of Technology (HUTECH) Tran Thien Quang and Dang Van Hoang has won runner up excellently in the Wings Up contest held John Henry Organization.

Wings Up playground seeks for young talent to fashionable Vietnam modern industry. It is held in the form of digital show which consists of 4 rounds (primery examination, drawing sketch, drawing real sample and final round). Final round consists of two brands - two styles are Freelancer (Indulgence) and Ainosofia (Elegant). Respectfully, designer Le Thanh Hoa and supermodel Vo Hoang Yen were the judges of the show which took place at Van Hanh Mall.

Two former students of Fashion Design HUTECH Tran Thien Quang and Dang Van Hoang were in top 6 contestants of the final round. With the theme - Saigon modern, Dang Van Hoang showed his exquisite choose express Sai Gon’s old beauty. In addtion to create the effect for design, he also impressed especially by using fire directly on the canvas.

On the other hands, Tran Thien Quang asserted strongly himself by new materials "anticipatory technology" by using light touch to control the sound, Fairylight, fiber-optic technology and design form- pixel laser cutting. Exploiting the beauty of exotic material is his strength. Currently, the his main job are drawing and creating photography concept for fashion brands. To him, WingsUp is an interesting challenge to satisfy enthusiastic design.

Not only Wings Up includes the valuable rewards, it also creates an early buffer young students in the their career. Hopefully, the spirit "dream wings", Tran Thien Quang and Dang Van Hoang will fly higher in the fashion world.
