At the past closing & awards ceremony for the student research Eureka 2018, HUTECH students won 07 prizes, including 01 2nd prize and 06 consolation prizes in many fields: Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, Pharmaceutical and Chemical Technology, Natural Resources and Environment, and Economy.
The Eureka Research Awards for Students has been established and developed since 1998. On November 24, the 20th ceremony was held in Ho Chi Minh City. This annual event is to honor winning projects performed by students from universities, and encourage them more in researches.

The awards were classified into 12 fields, including pharmaceutical chemistry technology, biotechnology and biomedical technology, information technology, food technology, education, economy, engineering, agriculture, forestry and fishery, laws, planning, architecture and construction, natural resources and environment, and social affairs and humanities. In 2018, 903 projects were submitted by students from 106 universities throughout 24 provinces in Vietnam. 165 projects has been chosen to compete in the final round.
