In the morning of January 08th, HUTECH Spring Festival & Spring Volunteer Campaign 2019 have officially started at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH).

Dr. Kieu Tuan, Party Committee secretary, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Dr. Bui Van The Vinh, Vice President; together with lecturers/leaders of Offices/Institutes/Faculties/Centers at the opening ceremony.
Giving a speech at the event, Dr. Kieu Tuan, Party Committee secretary, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, stated that Spring Festival & Spring Volunteer Campaign are crucial activities of HUTECH. Through these two traditional activities, students would have a chance to get closer and create a strong connection to each others and the community, with the hope that they would help and support homeless and unlucky persons. Moreover, the event was also the time for students to relax after a year of working and learning hard.

Nguyen Thi Ngan reporting the status of Spring Volunteer Campaign 2019 before starting.
Within the scope of the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan, Chairman of HUTECH Students Association stated that the campaign attracted over 800 students from faculties, institutes, clubs to join. Specifically, from January 8th to 25th, students would join many charity activities at hospitals, shelters, orphanages, special schools for children with disabilities, social welfare centres, and other places.

Besides, many exciting activities would also happen at HUTECH Spring Festival such as flash mobs, folk games, painting statues, selling souvenirs, food and drinks. Furthermore, many showrooms from students of Institutes and Faculties were also decorated with sticky rice cakes, distiches for Tet, apricot blossoms and peach blossoms to bring about the atmosphere of Spring.
