HUTECH students won the second prize at Creative Idea Contest (CiC) in 2019

CiC is jointly held by Information Technology Park of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Science of VNUHCM. Moreover, Ministry Education and Training, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, and VNUHCM Start-up Fund are sponsors for the contest.
Tieng Lap and Bao Ngoc confidently performing their group’s presentation, defense, and problem-solving
Students from universities and colleges in the entire country brought to the contest over 200 projects, competing in many qualifying rounds. Excellently, the project “LIVING Life T-shirt” of the two founders, Nguyen Tieng Lap and Trinh Bao Ngoc, was chosen to be among the top ten of projects to join the Shining round. Besides, two other students, Tran Hoa Binh (Ba Ria- Vung Tau University) and Nguyen Phi Phung (University of Economics and Finance- UEF) added their contribution to the successful project.
The judges highly evaluated the unique product “Life T-shirt” which has a simple and convenient design, creativeness, and feasible application to reduce the amount of drowning issues in Vietnam in recent years. Nguyen Tieng Lap, Trinh Bao Ngoc, and their partners won the second prize of 30.000.000 VND, 2000$ Amazon’ support package, 100.000.000 VND from VNUHCM Start-up Fund, and 1 voucher for transport tickets worth 1.000.000 VND (expired in 1 year).

HUTECH students got many prizes in the field of student Start-up
As a result of the achievements, the HUTECH students got many prizes in the fields of student Start-up. At the beginning of the school year, this became good news for groups of students, Nguyen Tieng Lap and Trinh Bao Ngoc in particular and HUTECH students in general, to continuously conquer other competitions with potential and creative ideas.
Before participating in the contest CiC in 2019, the project “LIVING Life T-shirt” also won many Start-up prizes such as the second prize in the contest “Project Design 2017”, the third prize in the contest “HUTECH Startup Wings 2019”, and the fourth prize in the contest “Business Ideas 2019”. Furthermore, the project was also chosen for the final round of the contest “Students Start-up 2019” held by Ministry Education and Training on October 4th & 5th at Ha Noi University of Science and Technology.
