Twenty excellent students at Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) finished the internship in Japan under the scholarship exchange of Kanazawa Institute of Technology (K.I.T) - an educational partner of VJIT.
To receive scholarships, VJIT students had to not only pass many interviews held by Japanese enterprises, but also meet requirements such as academic performance equal or higher than 3.2 (4.0 scale) and extracurricular activities grades equal or higher than 80 (100 scale)
A short internship of VJIT students in Japan from August 26th, 2019 to September, 14th,2019
The students had an opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience the culture and working style at Japanese enterprises. Specifically, they met and exchanged with Prof. Satoshi Osawa, President of K.I.T, who instructed and shared about the Japanese working style in the first week. Next week, VJIT students directly worked with K.I.T students at Japanese enterprises specialized in the fields of engineering and economics such as JTB Corp, Nissin Electric Co, and Ishino Seisakusho Co.

To know more about the country and people, VJIT students also participated in Japanese cultural exchange activities with K.I.T students in the last week of the internship. Then, they reported their experience, interaction, and learning results that they had acquired in front of Mr. Ho Xuan Hung, Vice Director of VJIT and lecturers of K.I.T.

The internship was a worthy gift to motivate the efforts in learning and training of 20 outstanding VJIT students. This was an occasion for them to exchange professional skills, soft skills, working styles in Japanese enterprises, and enriching their Japanese language capability.
