The IHS World Orchestra brought the exciting, sweet and cozy atmosphere to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) in the music exchange on 12th Dec, 2019.
The IHS World Orchestra is a unique international orchestra with a team of various musicians from many countries around the world. The orchestra regularly takes part in community - connected activities through spectacular performances, with popular tunes in different styles such as Jazz, Country, Tango, Samba, Waltz, etc.

For this occasion of meeting with HUTECH students, the IHS orchestra had some "gifts" in the form of Christmas carols from countries around the world such as: traditional songs of Cuban people and Denmark; classic Christmas songs like Jingle Bell, Feliz Navidad, I'm dreaming of a White Christmas, All I want for Christmas is you, ect.

In the midst of a lively music atmosphere with lots of emotions, HUTECH students embraced and cheered for the orchestra with all their hearts. They even took part in the parade with the theme of “Tin soldiers" to celebrate Christmas in European style and participated in singing with the orchestra, etc.

With the warm response and affection from HUTECH students, Conductor Lawrence Daher shared: “It is a great pleasure to come to Vietnam and to meet HUTECH students. I hope that we will have more opportunities to visit and perform for all of you again in the future”. In addition, he also, on behalf of The IHS orchestra, sent a wish of a successful and happy new year to all HUTECH students and staff.
