Start-up projects of HUTECH students making big impressions at STUDENT DAY

On December 13th, 2019, students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had the opportunity to meet and gain various valuable experiences from successful start-up leaders and entrepreneurs at The Closing Ceremony of Funding Activities for Technology – Entrepreneur Club 2019. The event was co-organized by VinTech City (VTC) and Business Startup Support Centre (BSSC).

The program took place at Riverside Palace Conference Center with 02 main activities. The first one was STUDENT DAY – exhibition of 14 best start-up products from technology students of 27 universities and colleges in the southern region. The second activity was VIETNAM YOUNG LEADERS FORUM 2019, with Borderless theme - founders and leaders of high calibre businesses were gathered at the forum.

At the STUDENT DAY, HUTECH students participated in the exhibition and presented their 03 best start-up projects. Besides, they also had the chance to talk and learn from experts and students of other universities related to their experience in the start-up field. The 03 exhibition projects at the event include: "Living Floating T-shirts" of students from Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) - Second prize of the ​​Entrepreneurial Idea Competition - CiC 2019; “Smart FOW Trash” of students from Architecture - Fine Arts Department, Business Administration - TOP 5 Luong Van Can Talent Award 2019; "Vix pumpkin egg noodles" by students of HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences and Faculty of Business Administration.

With actual products displaying and attractive product identity program, the start-up projects of HUTECH students made a remarkable highlight at the event 

 

With the actual display products and the attractive product identity program, the start-up projects of HUTECH students really made a remarkable highlight at the event. Beside the exhibition activities and meet-ups at the booths; Huynh Tan Long, Nguyen Bao Chau and Dao Thi Mai Thu (hosting “Smart Trash FOW” project) had an impressive "showcase" by giving a presentation in front of leading experts and businessmen, in English only.

On this occasion, all the start-up sponsorship activities of VinTech for students of universities and colleges in the Central and Southern regions were reported

 
In addition, HUTECH students also had the opportunity to meet, learn and gain more knowledge regarding the start-up field. Participating in the event were many high-class entrepreneurs who have obtained numerous achievements on their journey in start-up field: Ms. Truong Ly Hoang Phi - CEO of VinTech City; Ms. Le Diep Kieu Trang – Founder of Misfit, ex-CEO of Facebook Vietnam - Founder of Alabaster; Professor Vu Ngoc Tam - Founder & CEO of Earable; Mr. Le Dang Khoa - Chairman of Le Group Ventures; Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hang - CEO of BSSC; Mr. Le Tan Thanh Thinh - CEO of BrandBeats.


On this occasion, all of the start-up sponsorship activities of VinTech for students of universities and colleges in the Central and Southern regions were also reported. The Closing Ceremony of Funding Activities for Technology - Entrepreneurs Club (2019) ended in great success.
