There is a university’s birthday in April…

This April, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) celebrated its 25th anniversary (April 26, 1995 - 26 April 4, 2020), marking a quarter-century’s journey.
 
Twenty-five years is not long for a university, but it is an important milestone marking a memorable journey of many generations of lecturers, staffs, students and alumni. Together, they continually contribute to make HUTECH better day by day, gradually asserting its position in the national education system as today. Not just by numbers, it is the journey with many efforts makes the university’s anniversary more meaningful.

 
Every member’s efforts contributed to HUTECH family makes each anniversary of the University's founding day is always a happy and memorable.

Having a birthday in April 2020 makes it a special birthday - in a “special” time of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country. At HUTECH, it will surely be empty of students on the day, no halls of laughter, no usual vibrant cultural, musical and sports activities. There would also be no alumni who were excited about coming back to the University to see their teachers and friends, no meeting with all lecturers, staffs to celebrate because we all have a higher priority task to focus on at the moment.The joy of meeting again has to be postponed, but surely not far away.

The name HUTECH has always associated with the enthusiasm of the students.

On April 26th, HUTECH celebrated its 25th anniversary in a strange way. But "being alone" is not being lonely, the University still connects with lecturers and students through information channels, online platform where students can learn more about their "second home", spreading a dynamic spirit that has long been part of the proud identity of HUTECH students. And HUTECH can also "listen" to you more!
