The ERAMUS MUNDUS Project officially deployed at HUTECH

This April 3rd morning, the first meeting session of the ERAMUS MUNDUS Project on Graduate Employment jointly carried out by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and universities in Europe, was officially deployed at HUTECH’s 475A Dien Bien Phu campus. The first meeting received the participations of representatives from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, together with 09 member universities of the project, including: Valencia University (Spain), Groningen University (Netherlands), Uppsala University (Sweden), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), HCM City University of Technology (HUTECH), National Economics University (Vietnam), Hanoi University of Industry (Vietnam), Hue University (Vietnam), HCM City University of Technology and Education (Vietnam).

Making a speech at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam, Vice President of HUTECH and Head of HUTECH Institute of International Education, expressed his gratitude for the efforts and co-operations of all the member universities of the project. He also shared his happiness upon seeing the fresh smiles of the representatives and make the best wishes of health and success to them, together with the hope that the project will end with the best results in 2009.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam also gave an overview of the education mode, curriculum and learning environment of HUTECH to give the representatives a clearer view at HUTECH.

In addition, MSc. Nguyen Lan Huong, Vice Head of HUTECH Institute of International Education, also introduced the agenda and content of the next meetings. Thereby, the second, third and fourth meetings will be carried out at HUTECH on the 4th, 5th and 7th of April 2017, respectively.

ERAMUS MUNDUS is a program aiming to increase the employment of graduates, it was officially launched in December 2016 and is planned to be finished in 2019 with many of its core activities to be carried out by the nine member universities, who are to be working under the coordination of the EU. The member universities are: Valencia University (Spain), Groningen University (Netherlands), Uppsala University (Sweden), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), HCM City University of Technology (HUTECH), National Economics University (Vietnam), Hanoi University of Industry (Vietnam), Hue University (Vietnam), HCM City University of Technology and Education (Vietnam).

The project will help develop and promote the education co-operation relations between Vietnam and the EU on many aspects
The aim of the project is to further improve and promote the effectiveness and efficiency of education programs, to help prepare the required expertise and skills for our students in order to satisfy the increasing demand of employers and the society. At the same time, the project will also help develop and promote the education co-operation relations between Vietnam and the EU on many aspects.

As one of the five Vietnamese member universities, HUTECH will put the best efforts into the project in order to bring out the best and most detailed solutions for the graduate employment problem. HUTECH will also acts as the coordinator for other Vietnamese member universities.
HUTECH is the first private university in Vietnam to be entrusted with such a large international-scale project. From now to 2019, HUTECH will be carrying out these tasks:
