From August 21^st to August 23^rd, senior year Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts students from the Cergy - Pontoise University (France) and students of the 1 Year Cooperative Bachelor Program in Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts between the Cergy - Pontoise University and Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) have had some interesting joint practice sessions at the HUTECH Pixel Restaurant.

This is a part of the module “International Mission” in the training program, whose aim is to create an opportunity for students of the two universities to exchange knowledge, experiences and enjoy the fun of studying together in an international practice environment,

For this module, French and Vietnamese students have experience various practice activities together, including: Cooking practice at the Pixel Kitchen, Servicing the customers at the Pixel Restaurant, national culture and culinary exchange, cooking and cocktail making contests.

HUTECH Pixel Restaurant - located on the 5^th floor, 475A Dien Bien Phu Street Campus of HUTECH

All the joint practice sessions of the students are to be evaluated by Mr. Sebastien le Tacon, M.A., director of Restaurant Management and Culinary arts programs of Cergy - Pontoise University, and Ms. Vu Thi Huong Giang, MA., lecturer of the 1 year Cergy - Pontoise Bachelor Program at HUTECH. The results of the students will be graded based on their professional skills, attitude, situation handling skills, and teamwork - 4 important factors of a future restaurant manager.

HUTECH Pixel Restaurant currently owns one of the most modern system of practice kitchen and practice restaurant among Vietnamese Universities

The Module “International Mission” is organized once per year for students of the 1 Year Cooperative Bachelor Program in Restaurant Management and Culinary of Cergy - Pontoise University. During this module, our students will practice together with students of different universities who cooperate with Cergy - Pontoise University. Thereby, students from different universities are given opportunities to exchange cultures, share learning experiences and specialty knowledge, while at the same time perfecting their own method of cooking, drink making and servicing. This is the first year the Cergy - Pontoise program students at HUTECH participated in this module.
