HUTECH organizes in-depth psychology training session by Prof. Micheal Lavin

The event was hosted by Prof. Michael Lavin - Vice president of Chicago Psychological Association, psychological therapist. The event also recieved the wecome participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam - Vice preseident of HUTECH, Dr. Bui Phan Anh Thu - Dean of HUTECH Social Sciences and Humanity Faculty, MSc. Hoang Minh Phu - Head lecturer of Psychology subjects, together with students of the psychology major.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam shared that psychology is currenty developing strongly and is getting more attention from the society. Therefore, HUTECH wishes to organize more and more events like this, in order to buid more connections and provide more orientiation for students of the psychology major and other majors in general.
As an accomplished expert in therapy as well as teaching at universities in Europe, Asia, and Oceania, Prof. Michael Lavin brought about some new and intersting specialty knowledge in the fied.

With the topic of “Psychology of enterteinment in education”, the Professor guided the students to dicsuss the application of entertainment into teaching and studying - a relatively new field of study in psychology. Besides, at the end of the session, he also shared with the students some simple and useful methods to solve some psychological problems and organized some small games for students to assess their own strengths and weaknesses.

After the event, HUTECH psychology major students gathered many hepful knowledge and experiences, which they can use to makepreparations for their future career in the major.
