The meeting between HUTECH Board of Rectors and the representatives of YEUNGNAM University

On November 1st ,2018, at The HCMC University of Technology, the representatives of the Institute of Korean Language - Yeungnam University (Korea) were passionately welcomed by HUTECH Board of Rectors.
Within the session, there was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Bui Xuan Lam - Vice President of University of Technology, Dr. Bui Phan Anh Thu - Dean of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. To Hoai Thang - Vice Director of Businesses and Students’ Careers Cooperation Center together with all of the lecturers of Korean Studies specialization from HUTECH. It was honored to welcome Ms. Na Hyo Jeong - the Planning Executive and Dr. Dang Thi Ngoan - The Internationally Cooperative Researcher and Consultant of the Institute of Korean Language Education - Yeungnam University.

Cooperative proposals presented in the meeting
At the session, Dr. Dang Thi Ngoan suggested some cooperative proposals between HUTECH and Yeungnam University about the Korean educating programs as well as other science subjects for HUTECH students who are desirable to study abroad in Korea. She also shared about the policies and programs that Yeungnam University has provided for overseas students for a better education process.

Also in the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Bui Xuan Lam proposed some short-term exchange programs between the two universities by which HUTECH students, especially Korean Language and Korean Studies ones, would be provided more opportunities to study Korean in Korea. Moreover, they could understand more about the cultural traditions and the working and studying attitudes of Korean.
After getting some agreements of contributing training programs between HUTECH and Yeungnam Unversity, more new opportunities are provided for HUTECH students in enlarging their knowledge about not only language but also Korean cultures. This is the first step to help students make their dreams come true more easier.
