On November 20th 2018, the representatives of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) welcomed and had a meeting with the representatives of Myongji University (Korea) at HUTECH.
Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet, Vice President of HUTECH, Assoc. Prof. Thai Van Nam, Vice Dean of the Institute of Applied Sciences and lecturers of the Korean Language Faculty discussed about the cooperation opportunities with the representatives of Myongji University including Dr. Won Keun Lee, Vice President and Ms. Tenny Kim -Manager of post-graduate programs.
HUTECH and Myongji exchanges about cooperation for the upcoming time.
One year ago, on October 2017, HUTECH and Myongji University signed a commitment regarding the Student Exchange Program allowing HUTECH students who meet the required Korean language proficiency to be able to join to study a semester at Myongji University. Since March 2018, five students have been studying officially on this program at Myongji University. Five more students will join this program in next few months. At the meeting, both sides also agreed that HUTECH graduate students and lecturers could attend to post-graduate programs or intensive research in Korea.

Ms. Tenny Kim introduced about programs in technology, architecture and language studies. She also presented the history of Myongji University, enrollment requirements and scholarship for students.
