Student designed “Smart Edu” website to prevent violence toward children.

According to Education & Training news, on December 28th, 2018, the Final Round and Awards Ceremony of “HUTECH IT’s Got Talent 2018” took place at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH).

As stated by the organizing committee, the contest attracted a total of 103 teams with the participation of 187 students this year (each team has from one to three students who are studying in universities and institutes nationwide).

In the preliminary and final rounds, each team presented their own products within the limited time before the Panel of judges including experts and lecturers from IT businesses and universities. Then, they answered questions from the judges about product perfection, and whether or not it meets requirements of end users like functions, application capabilities, interface, and design.

Specially, an additional part of contest themed “Tech-related Startup ideas” was also held under the guidance of judges and supported with platform technology from Azibai social network. As the result, “Smart Edu” project of Vo Pham Thanh Luan, a fourth-year student of Faculty of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), won the prize.

Mr. Le Thanh Tuan, representative of judges, Director of Business of Azibai, stated that “Smart Edu” was a commercial project. It could be deployed instantly based on available features and services which had been built by the student. He also expressed his eagerness to cooperate with the founder in such a great project to reach out to potential clients. With more than ten thousand customers available on his social network platform technology, he strongly believed that the cooperation would be successful and the final product would grow fast in the market.
