The training session "AI Assistant," organized by the Department of Human Resources of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) on the morning of December 7th, provided valuable knowledge and skills to enhance administrative and teaching efficiency through the practical application of artificial intelligence (AI).

Dr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Chairman of Attention Vietnam and Lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology, opened the session by delivering foundational knowledge on Generative AI. His presentation equipped participants with a deeper understanding of this advanced technology. The discussion covered AI trends and impacts, including an overview of AI types from traditional AI to Machine Learning and Deep Learning, the working principles of Generative AI through token selection processes, and the personalization and updating capabilities of large language models (LLMs).

He further emphasized the importance of effective interaction with AI, including developing critical thinking skills and formulating accurate commands to maximize the potential of AI tools. Many opinions about AI were discussed during the session

Following this, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Anh, Head of the Department of Software Technology at the Faculty of Information Technology, conducted a practical session, demonstrating how to apply AI in teaching and administrative work. He provided detailed guidance on using AI tools to automate multiple-choice question creation, develop lecture content, and optimize learning materials. Additionally, participants practiced hands-on activities such as data analysis and creating visual content with advanced tools like ChatGPT, Google AI Studio, Perplexity, and Poe.com to design presentation slides, illustrations, and videos for teaching.
