On October 6, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a working session with representatives from Singapore Management University (SMU) to discuss and expand cooperation opportunities in student exchange and international education.
In an open and engaging atmosphere, both sides exchanged key ideas on promoting the Visiting Student Program (VSP) and short-term exchange programs between students of the two universities. This marks an important first step, opening up opportunities for HUTECH students to study, experience, and develop themselves in Singapore’s dynamic international environment.

SMU was represented by Ms. Duong Minh Tam - Lead, Inbound International Student Exchange Program and Visiting Student Program
Accordingly, the VSP will provide opportunities for HUTECH students to study at SMU for one semester or one academic year, where they can take specialized courses, engage with international students, and experience a modern academic environment. In addition, both sides aim to organize short-term courses and cultural exchange activities within the Asian region to enhance mutual understanding, build international student networks, and promote global integration.
