Meaningful acts of HUTECH students on Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20)

A series of activities to celebrate this year’s Vietnamese Teachers’ Day have been organized by students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) taking place between November 17- 20, 2014.

A wide range of activities such as flower arrangement contests, card making, wall newspaper designs, calligraphy drawing, art gala, flashmob dance attracted the participation of students from all faculties and institutes within the university.

Sending love through songs

On November 19, the Faculty of Biotechnology, Food, and Environment held a musical program with the theme “Teachers: Sowers of Seeds” that was filled with sweet melodies expressing the gratitude from students to their teachers, dedication and passion for teaching of lecturers and professors, friendship among fellow students, etc.

Previously, the Cultural Gala of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management with the theme "Ethnic colors" brought a unique fashion show, imbued with the national identity of Vietnam along with the beautiful display of many different cultures around the world.

On the morning of November 18, the Faculty of Law held a greeting card-making contest to show the sincerity and gratitude of the students to their teachers.

The Faculty of Business Administration once again had an impressive welcoming performance with a vibrant flashmob drawing the participation of nearly 80 students arranged as one of the notable activities of the Faculty in celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. Following the dance performance, students continued to make nearly 30 unique and diverse wall newspaper projects as a way to say thanks to their teachers.

Exciting activities to thank lecturers and professors

In parallel with the opening ceremony of the new school year and the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day organized by the university, the Faculty of Architecture and Arts plans to organize a calligraphy drawing program featuring unique works. On the other hand, the Faculty of Civil Engineering is also holding a flower arrangement student contest to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

The opening ceremony of the new school year and the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day will be held on the morning of November 20

November 20 is an opportunity for all HUTECH students to use their talents as a gift of gratitude to their teachers. Wishing much health and joy to all the faculty members on their journey in guiding students towards new horizons of knowledge and nurturing young dreams.
