Students of the Faculty of Law take part in the “Happy Spring - Cozy Tet” spring volunteer campaign in Lam Dong Province

On the 23rd and 24th of January, students from the Faculty of Law of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) took part in the “Happy Spring - Cozy Tet” spring volunteer campaign in Lam Dong Province with many meaningful activities.

On this occasion, student volunteers visited and presented Tet gifts to low-income families. They also tended to and supported disadvantaged students and those facing difficult circumstances in Tan Thanh Commune, Lam Dong Province. Accompanying the students on the volunteer campaign was Dr. Phan Minh Phung - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law and member of the Executive Committee of the Faculty’s Youth Union and Student Association.

Student volunteers visit and present gifts to five low-income households and families under preferential treatment policies in Tan Thanh Commune
With the theme “Happy Spring - Cozy Tet” of the spring volunteer campaign, students of the Faculty of Law had the opportunity to visit and present Tet gifts to low-income and disadvantaged families, as well as those under preferential treatment policies living in the commune. On this occasion, students also donated spring gifts, school supplies and five bicycles to students with excellent academic achievements at Tan Thanh 2 Primary School.
The students also displayed their artistic skills by painting and decorated the walls and school grounds at two primary schools, including Sinh Mon and Suoi Mot located in Tan Thanh Commune. The beautification project brought a fresh and vibrant look to these schools ahead of the coming spring season.

Student volunteers visit and offer incense at the Martyrs’ Cemetery of Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province
As part of the volunteer campaign, students also participated in an exchange program with members of the Youth Union of Tan Thanh Commune through group activities, bonfires, and music performances. The HUTECH student volunteers hoped to spread their youthful spirit and compassion to people in these local communities. On their way back to Ho Chi Minh City, they also visited and paid their respects to the fallen soldiers at Bao Loc City Martyrs’ Cemetery. The volunteer campaign ended with many unforgettable moments from a memorable journey for the students.
