In the afternoon of 25th November, 2016, HUTECH’s English-major students had a wonderful time listening to Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Thảo (M.A.)’s talk about creative thinking techniques in translation of the modern world.
Interpretation & Translation -majored students
This was also a regular meeting of HIT (HUTECH Interpretation & Translation) club where students who are about to take translation and interpretation as their future career would be able to gain a deeper insight into creative translation.

In this workshop, there were also the participations of Mr. Nguyễn Toàn (PhD), director of HUTECH’s Enterprise Relations and Career Center, Ms Pham Quynh Trang, Vice dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages as well as other Faculty of Foreign Languages’ lecturers.
Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Thảo (M.A.) who is also working as a translator at Trí Việt company (Firstnews) had shared his own experience on translation, and some wonderful examples as well.
Besides, a variety of familiar songs and poems had been translated into both English and Vietnamese in order to put those theories into practice. Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Thảo HUTECH’s English-major students enthusiastically answered questions asked by Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Thảo The workshop was successfully held and this was also a good chance for students to know more about their current major as well as their future job prospect.
