HUTECH buzzing with activities to welcome the new school year 2017 – 2018

The new school year 2017-2018 officially began on September 5^that the University of Technology (HUTECH) In order to launch a successful school year and welcome the return of HUTECH students as well as new members of 2017, many cultural and artistic activities took place during the Week of Welcome, which started from September 6^th. Let’s check out the following highlights of events.

New students 2017 & Model Club’s impressive catwalk show.

This proved a very special gift for freshers 2017, who all came from HUTECH’s Model Club, they invested considerable time in rehearsals to welcome new friends to a new school year. As far as I know, it is Fashion Design students 2017 who sponsored the models’ costumes.

Exciting flash mobs.
HUTECH Volunteer Team, Social Work Team, students of Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology, HUTECH Institute of International Education, Faculty of Business Administration, Banking, Finance & Accountancy took on amazingly energetic flash mob showcases accompanied by the background music of the song "Vietnam’s Hearts", "Proud to be Volunteers", "Rice Drum" and so on. These performances stirred the atmosphere and brought fresh air to all HUTECH members on the first days of school.

The reappearance of the Guitar Club.
Previously making a great impression in the first week’s new student conference 2017, HUTECH guitar club will come back with a mash-up called "Love Words".
According to the revelation of the secret, Acoustic Band and Music Club under the Center of Arts and Culture of the school actively practiced, playing instruments and training their voices to make a musical contribution and stir up excitement among students on the first day of school.

In addition, a bouncing balls act, PDT modern dance, a martial arts performance by Aikido Club, Taekwondo Club, a Bartender Performance by Tourism/Restaurant Management was also included during this Week of Welcome.
Particularly, the launch of the new school year 2017-2018 officially took place on the morning of September 9^th with many attractive activities.
The series of student welcome events lasted 4 consecutive days during breaks (at 9:00 am and 3:00 pm) from 6^th to 9^th September in the school ground.
