Students of HUTECH English language faculty won the third prize in an English debate competition.

On May 20, students from English language faculty, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) participated in the final round of the English speaking contest, which took place at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT).
The contest has the theme "Disaster - natural or human-made", attracting the participation of a large number of university students in Ho Chi Minh City. In the final round, students from 04 best schools namely HUTECH, HUFLIT, Saigon University of Technology (STU) and Nguyen Tat Thanh University competed in an intense competition.

Attending the final round, HUTECH's representative was Dr. Le Dinh Luong - Chief of the School's Office. Dr. Tran Quoc Thao - Vice Dean of English language faculty was also present as a member of the contest jury.

The team from English language faculty included 04 students: friend Phan Mai Hong Van - 19DTAC5, Le Minh Phuong Khanh - 19DTAC3, Nguyen Thi Phuong Quyen - 19DTAC2, Tran Xuan Huyen Anh - 20DTAC2 led by M.Ed. Huynh Thanh Quang - Lecturer of the Faculty, together with the Advisory Board including MSc. Vo Quoc Dai - Head of Business English and MSc. Ho Hai Tien - Lecturer of the Faculty showed excellent performance in the competition round. Achieving impressive scores and compliments from the Jury, 04 students of the HUTECH English language faculty excellently won the third prize in the end.

The award shows the remarkable efforts of the lecturers and students of the HUTECH English language faculty. Hopefully, with the useful experience and knowledge from the competition, the students will continue to improve their foreign languages, sharpen their thinking skills for the their successful future career path.
