Recently, an exhibition was held by students majoring in Graphic Design (Faculty of Communication and Design, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - HUTECH). The event included the display of artworks and designs created by students for the final projects in the following courses including Illustration, Drawing, and Basics of Graphic Design. The event took place between November 19 and 21 at Hall A of the university’s main campus.

Particularly, taking place on November 19 was the exhibition of book illustrations comprising 45 displays debuting the products of students from class 18DDHA1 and 18DDHA2. The diverse book contents were chosen by the students, ranging from fairy tales, folklores, Vietnamese legends, popular foreign literature, proses and poems, odysseys that have been published in secondary education curriculum as well as topics related to nature and environmental stewardship, etc.

Besides book illustrations, students also create accessories such as stickers and keychains
On November 21, the event was followed by the exhibition of students from class 19DDHA1 and 19DDHA2 for the final course project in Drawing and Basics of Graphic Design. The exhibition was a showcase of 90 artworks, consisting of self-portrait (Drawing course), and visual graphic design products (Basics of Graphic Design course). Besides familiar materials such as powder color, watercolor, acrylic color, needlepoint pen, charcoal pencil,… many pieces were created with unique materials such as color threads, newspaper, or combinations of mechanical parts and clock hands to show the inner personal and emotional struggle, etc.
