2015 International Conference on Applied System Innovation (ICASI 2015) will be held in Japan on May 22~26, 2015 and will provide a unified communication platform for researchers in a wide area of topics from information technology, innovation design, communication science & engineering, industrial design, creative design, applied mathematics, computer science, design theory, cultural & creative research, electrical & electronic engineering, mechanical & automation engineering, green technology & architecture engineering, material science, and other related fields. Professionals from industry, academia and government are encouraged to discourse on research and development, professional practice, business and management in the information, innovation, communication and engineering fields are welcome to participate in the ICASI 2015. This conference enables interdisciplinary collaboration between science and engineering technologists in the academic and industrial fields as well as networking internationally. During the conference, there will be substantial time for presentation and discussion. Attendees will find various activities useful in bringing together a diverse group of engineers and technologists from across disciplines for the generation of new ideas, collaboration potential and business opportunities.

 

Excellent papers selected in ICASI 2015 will be recommended to be published on the following SCI journals after an additional strictly review process and may need extra publication charge. (For those manuscripts which are not accepted by SCI journals, will be referred to be published on other EI journals.)

Osaka (大阪) is a designated city in the Kansai region of Japan. It is the capital city of Osaka Prefecture and the largest component of the Keihanshin Metropolitan Area, the second largest metropolitan area in Japan and among the largest in the world with nearly 19 million inhabitants. Situated at the mouth of the Yodo River on Osaka Bay, Osaka is Japan's third largest city by population after the Tokyo 23 wards and Yokohama, and serves as a major economic hub. Historically a merchant city, Osaka has also been known as the "nation's kitchen" (天下の台所tenka no daidokoro) and served as a center for the rice trade during the Edo period. The modern municipality was establishedin 1889 by government ordinance, with an initial area of 15 square kilometers, overlapping today's Chūō and Nishiwards. Osaka was the industrial center most clearly defined in the development of capitalism in Japan. The rapid industrialization attracted many Korean immigrants, who set up a life apart for themselves.The political system was pluralistic, with a strong emphasis on promoting industrialization and modernization.Literacy was high and the educational system expanded rapidly, producing a middle class with a taste for literature and a willingness to support the arts. Like its European and American counterparts, Osaka displayed slums, unemployment, and poverty. In Japan it was here that municipal government first introduced a comprehensive system of poverty relief, copied in part from British models. Osaka policymakers stressed the importance of family formation and mutual assistance as the best way to combat poverty. This minimized the cost of welfare programs.

Prospective authors with accepted abstract are invited to submit their full paper through online submission system by March 15, 2015. Technical papers on the aspects related to (but not limited to) those in the topics of interest are invited for oral presentation. Length of the full paper is limited within 4 pages (max). Conference Topics:

Technical papers on the aspects related to (but not limited to) those in the topics of interest are invited for oral presentation. Length of the full paper is limited within 4 pages (max). The program committee encourages the submission of invited sessions with at least six manuscripts on a well-defined subject of current interest. If you are interested in this, please email us the title of the session, the name and full contact details of the session organizer, and a list of the proposed session contributions, including titles, authors, and the corresponding author of each paper. All papers in invited sessions will be subject to review and assessment by the Program committee.
