- Received the best thesis related to building and implementing Vietnam securities information system (2002);
- Completed master's thesis (2005) and doctoral thesis (2013) on the topic of HRIS-Trust model at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand (AIT);
- Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Duc is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher (Post-doc) of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA);
- His research papers are published in peer-reviewed journals and at international conferences;
- He is a research fellow of the British government through the project "The Leaders in Innovation Fellowship (LIF)" of the Newton Fund (Newton Fund);
- He has extensive experience in collaborative projects with research groups from: University of Fribourg (Switzerland), Northwestern University (Switzerland), University of Bolton (UK), University of Marburg (Germany), University of Illinois (USA), Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand);
- Founder and Vice President of CIRTECH Institute of Technology (CIRTECH Institute), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH); He is also the founder, consultant and coordinator of many technology-related small and medium enterprises in Vietnam.
