CENTER FOR POLITICS AND NATIONAL DEFENSE EDUCATION

INTRODUCTION
 

The Center for Politics and National Defense Education was established under Decision 24/QD-DKC signed on August 31, 2013 by the President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). Currently, the Center operates under Decision No 2156/QD-DKC dated September 1, 2017. The Center is in charge of training and teaching of Political Science subjects and National Defense - Security Education modules. 

MISSION AND FUNCTIONS

- Advising the University’s President on the management, administration, training, and coordination with other faculties and departments within the university to organize activities related to the training, teaching and testing of Political Science subjects and National Defense - Security Education modules according to the subject requirements set by the Ministry of Education and Training.
 

- Cooperating with project partners in the implementation of political and moral education for students;

- Monitoring, supporting and promptly shaping students’ comprehension and belief in Marxism - Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s Thought, history and revolutionary lines of the Communist Party of Vietnam; 
 

- Providing students with methodologies to the materialist worldview to promote their learning motivation throughout the journey of becoming highly qualified and capable individuals of the workforce that not only are socialist-minded and vocationally proficient but also can contribute to the benefits of the nation and society.
