On October 21, students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) participated in a free English proficiency test organized by the Center for Informatics - Foreign Languages - Organizational skills.
Organized by the Center for Informatics - Foreign Languages - Skills, the exam session was the opportunity to test the English proficiency of more than 500 registered students. On this occasion, students took part in a paper-based grammar exam portion and a face-to-face conversation with the instructors. The English proficiency level of students would be assessed based on their pronunciation, ability to form sentences and use of words, grammar, reflexes when communicating in English. From the assessment, students can determine their levels of English proficiency, thereby devising appropriate study strategies to improve their skills.

After the first free English proficiency test on October 21 and October 22, the Center for Informatics - Foreign Languages - Skills plans to organize the second round of testing at HUTECH High - Quality Manpower Training Center at the end of November.
The Center will also organize the second free English proficiency test for students at HUTECH High - Quality Manpower Training Center (District 9) at the end of November
Proficiency test is a way for students to assess their English level, thereby choosing appropriate learning methods and strategies to improve their skills
