126 research topics reported at the 2019 HUTECH Science and Technology Conference

On July 19, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) held the 2019 HUTECH Science and Technology Conference drawing the participation of a large number of scientists, researchers, lecturers, and students from HUTECH and other universities with 126 research topics in several different disciplines.
The opening session of the 2019 HUTECH Science and Technology Conference
The opening session was attended by Dr. Kieu Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees; Meritorious Teacher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Minh Thi - Chairman of the University’s Founding Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam, Dr. Bui Van The Vinh - Vice President; Prof. Dr. Sc. Tran Ngoc Them - Member of the Interdisciplinary Professorship Council on Culture and Arts; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Cao Cuong - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh University of Economics and Finance (UEF); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Xuan Tham - Former Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong Province. The conference also welcomed the participation of many lecturers, graduate students, and students.

As an annual event, HUTECH Science and Technology Conference is not only an opportunity for researchers, lecturers, and students to come together with academic exchange and publication of research results, it is also a chance to establish new connections and potential research collaboration and technology transfer of research topics with high application values that could benefit the community and society at large.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Xuan Tham presents on the research topic “Golden Lingzhi mushroom, TOMOPHAGUS colossus, containing rich active anti lung cancer ingredients found in Vietnam”
With two tracks in Engineering & Technology and Economics & Social Sciences, the Conference had over 80 topics reported by HUTECH researchers and lecturers, and 46 topics by students of Faculties/Institutes presented in 14 different subcommittees.
