Students of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce can once again apply for the "Nurturing HUTECH Talents" Scholarship

Recently, students of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) had an opportunity to learn about the human resource demands for accounting and finance majors in the Industry 4.0 era and apply for the "Nurturing HUTECH Talents" Scholarship - an annual scholarship for students majoring in the fields of economics and finance since 2016.
The program was organized by HUTECH Faculty of Finance and Commerce in collaboration with the Smart Train Education and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with the companionship of the Grant Thornton Company.

Attending the program were Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Tam - Senior Director of Training Division of ACCA Vietnam, Mr. Lam Quang Tuan - Deputy Director of Smart Train Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Tung - Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce Faculty along with lecturers and students of the Faculty.

Mr. Tuan, Deputy Director of Smart Train Education shared with students useful career information for accounting and finance majors in the Industry 4.0 era. On this occasion, students were also introduced to the “Nurturing HUTECH Talents” scholarship that would offer them the chance to obtain ACCA certification in international accounting and finance. In the period of international integration, having the prestigious ACCA British Certified Accountant Certificate would be an advantage for students to work for multinational corporations and companies.

After listening to the sharings from the speakers, the students entered the first portion of the "Nurturing HUTECH Talents " scholarship in the form of multiple-choice questions. Those with the highest scores in this round would advance to the interview round for a chance to receive scholarships from Smart Train and ACCA.
