Official grand opening of HUTECH Institute of Engineering’s Intramural Sport Fest

On December 11, 2017, HUTECH Institute of Engineering’s Intramural Sports Fest officially started with six competition events including football, chess, Chinese chess, badminton, basketball, and volleyball.
As one of the Institute’s traditional activities, the Sports Fest provides students within the Institute of Engineering the opportunity to engage in fun and exciting recreational activities after stressful periods of study. These intramural events also create favorable conditions for those that are gifted in sports to interact with their fellow students, practice, and display their skills.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Director of the Institute of Engineering reminded and encouraged students to perform to the best of their ability while competing safely and keeping up the spirit of sport.

Following the opening ceremony, the 12 selected football teams from the preliminary began playing their first games. After six matches, the four best teams have been identified to move on to the final round which will be held at the closing ceremony of the Sports Fest scheduled to take place on November 30th.
