The student-designed automatic body temperature scanner has been put in use at HUTECH campus

On May 8, 2020, students from HUTECH Institute of Engineering presented the University with a system comprising a body temperature scanner and an automatic hand sanitizer that is researched and designed by members of the group. 

Starting from the idea of aiding the medical staff to keep a safe distance during the routine temperature check of the university faculty and staff, the group of students including Ta Tan Tinh, Vo Chi Bao, Pham Duc Cong, Nguyen Cong Danh, Nguyen Thi Diem Uyen, Nguyen Ngo Quyen, Tran Trung Kien, under the technical advice of Dr. Nguyen Van Nhanh - Vice Director of HUTECH Institute of Engineering invented the body temperature scanner and automatic hand sanitizer device.

This system has been researched and designed to provide two main functions, including (1) automatic scanning of body temperature and temperature warning; (2) automatic dispensing of hand sanitizer. All parameters will be displayed on an LED screen equipped with the system.

The system includes two main functions including (1) automatic scanning of body temperature and temperature warning; (2) automatic dispensing of hand sanitizer
 
Along with that, the automatic hand santizier device can self detect the hand motion to dispense the prescribed concentration of alcohol-based sanitizer. This product which is used to limit potential contact with the material surface and minimize the possibility of transmission has been put into operation at HUTECH campus.

This also provides students with an excellent example in motivating them to continue exploring and researching products with high application value for everyday purposes.
