HUTECH students won top prizes at the “Vietnam - Korea Global Youth Entrepreneurship” 2017 Festival

Recently, two startup projects of HUTECH students have won two top prizes at the Vietnam - Korea Global Youth Entrepreneurship 2017 Festival jointly organized by Yeongju City and  Dongyang University (South Korea).

The 2017 Vietnam - Korea Global Youth Entrepreneurship Festival is an ideal playground encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship and acts as a bridge simulating the exchange between Vietnamese students and students of Dongyang University. This year's festival brought together nearly 20 ideas generated by students from Dongyang University, RMIT Vietnam, and HUTECH.

HUTECH's startup projects submitted in the contest were developed by students from the Institute of Engineering, the Institute of Applied Science and the Faculty of Information Technology. With seven projects covering different fields of science and technology including processed food production and trade, bio-based products, applications supporting production and health care, etc., HUTECH students excellently won the two top prizes of the contest.

The first prize belongs to the MicroPush project of Huynh Vu Hoai Nhan and Nguyen Duc Toan, instructed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Dinh Bay and Mr. Duong Thanh Phet
 
HUTECH students won top prizes at the “Vietnam - Korea Global Youth Entrepreneurship” 2017 Festival 33
The second prize belongs to the project “Research and application of 3D printing technology in supporting people with disabilities and rehabilitation in orthopedic surgery” of Nguyen Trung Tin, Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Nguyen Duc Chuyen, Le Nhat Son and Nguyen Ba Phi, instructed by Mr. Pham Ba Khien.
 
Highly appreciated for its ability in catching global technology trends, the first prize-winning project - MicroPush developed by HUTECH students - is an application allowing the use of robotic fingers to remotely control machines and equipment through the Electronic Control Unit (Electrical Control Unit) and the Wifi network.

Representatives of the two winning teams along with their instructors will be awarded two full scholarships sponsoring their startups in Korea for 10 days in early December. In addition, all winning projects will be displayed on the Startup Consultancy Day (November 14 - 16, 2017).
