The Faculty of Accounting, Finance and Banking finishes first overall in the 2016 HUTECH Student Sports Fest

After a month of competition, HUTECH Sports Fest has concluded with the overall first place going to the Faculty of Accounting, Finance, and Banking. Finishing in second and third place in terms of team performance are the Faculty of Biotechnology, Food, and Environment and the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, respectively.
Starting from March 27, 2016, this year’s Student Sports includes seven categories of competitions. After nearly a month of competition, the Closing and Awarding Ceremony was held on April 24, 2016 at the university’s main campus. Leaders of the university and different faculties/institutes were present at the event to congratulate the student-athletes for their achievements.

Dr. Luu Thanh Tam - Vice President of HUTECH stated, "Supporting by the modern competition conditions, the Sports Festival witnesses the competitive spirit of 1,461 athletes. Following the annual tradition, many outstanding collectives and individual talents have been discovered and will continue to be trained by the university to participate in upcoming intercollegiate and regional tournaments.

The 2016 Sports Festival witnessed the resounding achievements of the Faculty of Accounting, Finance, and Banking with 4 First Prizes (Women's Volleyball, Men's Volleyball, Women's Singles Badminton, Women's Doubles Badminton), 1 Second Prize (Women's Football), 1 Third Prize (Women's Chess). The Faculty also placed first overall in terms of team performance in the Sports Fest.

The following faculties, including Business Administration, Mechanical-Electrical- Electronic Engineering, Architecture and Arts, Civil Engineering, Law and Institute of International Education had display excellent performance by winning several first prizes in different categories of competition. Proceeding with much excitement, celebration, and solidarity, the 2016 HUTECH Student Sports Fest has come to a successful end and left beautiful impressions in the hearts of all HUTECH faculty, staff, and student-athletes. This event also marks an important milestone of HUTECH at age 21 full of energy and vitality (26 April 1995- 26 April 2016).
