INTRODUCTION
According to Decision No. 33/QD-HDQT signed on August 30th, 2016 by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the Office of Academic Services and Testing was officially renamed from what was previously known as the Office of Academic Services.
MISSION AND FUNCTIONS
>>> Functions:
The Office of Academic Services and Testing is a unit under the Board of Presidents that functions as the advisor to the university President in the management and orientation of academic and training-related development. The Office is responsible for the organization and implementation of academic and assessment activities including teaching, learning, and testing according to the institution’s overall strategic development goals. It also maintains and protects the registration and academic records of all students.

- Academic services:
- Researching, identifying and monitoring students’ learning needs for the development and continuous enhancement of the training curriculums that are appropriate to meet the demands of the increasingly competitive workforce and advancement of society;
- Coordinating with other offices and departments to conduct the admissions process according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Coordinating with other offices and departments to develop proposals and approval applications for the initiation of new academic programs. Modifying and making improvements to academic programs including objectives, contents and training curriculums;
- Responsible for the management of all academic and training programs. Drafting of annual teaching plans;
- Managing student academic records, monitoring course and exam schedules, supporting students with all academic-related procedures;
- Issuing the following documents on behalf of the President’s Office including student temporary leave of absence, re-enrollment, provisional degree certificate, student transcript, copy of diploma, degree verification, etc.
- Testing services:
- Developing guidance documents for testing procedures;
- Conducting admissions exams;
- Organizing semester finals and graduation exams for all academic programs and forms of training according to the university’s regulations; grading of all multiple choice-based tests;
- Maintaining records and confidentiality of exam questions and student answer sheets for each academic year;
- Creating a question bank to be used for constructing exams;
- Performing other duties assigned by the Board of Presidents.
