INTRODUCTION
HUTECH Library currently has two facilities located at the following campuses:
- 3rd floor at HUTECH Main Campus - 475A Dien Bien Phu, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City covering an area of 1,800m2, with a total seating capacity of 800.
- 2nd floor of E3 building - HUTECH High-Quality Manpower Training Center covering an area of 1,400m2, with a total seating capacity of 400.
Designed with vibrant and youthful colors, HUTECH Library provides ample space for study and group activities along with abundant and diverse sources of traditional and online materials as well as modern equipment that fully meet the needs of faculties and students in their studies and research.
MISSION AND FUNCTIONS
>>> Functions:
The Library has the function of managing, exploiting and accumulating a wide variety of resources and materials that support the training and research activities of the University.
>>> Mission:
- Managing general library activities, formulating library facility and resource development plans, supplementing and exchanging various types of documents;
- Creating favorable conditions for all university employees including lecturers and staff as well as students to access library services and resources;
- Keeping records of all university’s publications;
- Building and maintaining the Library Catalog and other searchable databases;
- Providing readers with guidance and instructions on how to utilize library resources effectively, supporting the needs of patrons in their studies, research, and knowledge discovery;
- Organizing exhibitions and making effort to foster reading culture on campus;
- Engaging in professional training activities within the network of public and private libraries in the country.
