1.Introduction
English language is a subject that helps students achieve a minimum level of English proficiency at level 5 according to Vietnam's 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework. The major provides students with knowledge, English language skills, knowledge of natural and social sciences, culture, English-American literature, and especially soft skills such as communication, problem solving. problem solving, teamwork, time management, creative thinking, responsibility and appropriate attitude at work, personal qualities and capacity for lifelong learning.
In order to provide students with complementary specialized knowledge and increase employability for students, the training program is designed with 4 narrow specialized directions, including:
   + Business English
   + English for tourism-restaurant-hotel
   + English translation and interpretation
   + Methods for English Teaching
Students can choose one of the four directions above in accordance with each individual's ability, interests and conditions to further develop specialized knowledge and skills.

3. Degree: Graduates are awarded a Bachelor of English Language
4. Training time: 4 years, however, depending on the individual's ability, students can complete the training program earlier, within 3 to 3.5 years.
5. Career opportunities:
After graduation, students of English major can take on many different jobs, with diverse and rich opportunities such as:
+ Translators, interpreters in companies, diplomatic agencies, media agencies, Vietnamese and international economic and social organizations; Translation services for publishers, publishing centers of books, newspapers, magazines, etc.
+ Communication specialist, event organizer, secretary, assistant, ... in foreign companies.
+ Specialist in marketing, import and export in enterprises.
+ Guides, consultants at travel agencies, restaurants and hotels
+ Teachers of English teaching and research at universities, colleges, professional secondary schools, primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, foreign language centers.
