CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

INTRODUCTION

 

The Center for International Affairs was separated from the Department of Science, Technology and International Affairs under Decision No 9/QD-HDT signed on December 12, 2020 by the Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors.

 

MISSION AND FUNCTIONS
 

>>> Functions

Advising and assisting the University’s President in the management and organization of activities related foreign affairs and international cooperation in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the University.
 

>>> Mission

- Building and developing medium and long-term internationalization strategies; implementing the University's annual international cooperation plans including cooperative programs, schemes and projects with foreign partners and institutions;
 

- Building and promoting the internationalization of HUTECH in training, researching, capacity building in human resources, organizing exchange programs for lecturers and students, supporting technology transfer, and gaining access to different sources of international funding, etc.
 

- Connecting and coordinating with foreign governments, universities, and international education networks to promote the implementation of the aforementioned tasks;
 

- Searching for potential markets to create and improve international employment opportunities for students;
 

- Establishing, maintaining, and expanding foreign cooperation relations, focusing on implementing exchange programs for lecturers and students;
 

- Providing information on international cooperation opportunities for staff and lecturers; supporting faculties and departments within the university in international cooperation activities;
 

- Coordinating with faculties and departments within the university in the organization, planning and management of the arrivals and departures of foreign partners and delegations during their visit to the University in accordance with the government regulations; handling visa procedures for staff and students who work and study abroad; handling application procedures for entry visas of international visitors; welcoming and supporting foreign delegations or nationals during their working period at the University;
 

- Supporting the Board of Presidents in the discussion, negotiation, and signing of cooperation agreements with international organizations and universities.
