FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

INTRODUCTION

- The Faculty of Information Technology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) is one of the University’s oldest academic departments. The Faculty has been in operation since the early years when the University was established.
 

- The Faculty of Information Technology is prized for the quality of its faculty leaders, lecturers, and staff. The team of capable and experienced individuals has not only demonstrated high levels of passion and creativity through their job but also senses of responsibility and professional ethics in their journey of educating future generations of IT engineers. Over the past 25 years, the development of the Faculty has also been reflected in the progress HUTECH has achieved as an institution by the many achievements in academics and training. Among these, the expansion and improvement of learning facilities and equipment have always been the top priority of the Faculty to ensure the delivery of conditions that best support high-quality teaching, learning, and research environment. Besides, the Faculty strives to promote student’s involvement in extracurricular activities, such as student competitions, emulation movements, community service, artistic and athletic programs, academic and entrepreneurship contests, etc., intending to create a well-rounded education and comprehensive student development. 
 

- Accompanying HUTECH and the Faculty on the journey of training high-quality human resources in Information Technology, there are also several strategic partnerships with leading IT companies and reputable technology corporations in Vietnam, such as the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association. (HCA), Vietnam Digital Technology Alliance (VNITO), FPT Software, TMA Solutions, etc., in providing HUTECH students with opportunities to participate in internship programs, gain practical experience, and secure full-time employment while preparing for promising careers as future IT engineers in the Industry 4.0 era.
